Reporting to the Director of Claims, the Senior Claims and Risk Advocate would summarily serve as the Risk Manager for a designated group of accounts. The successful candidate would work along-side key, client-side stakeholders, which may include Executives, Managers, Associates and/or Team Members. Internally, s/he would partner with the Account Management, Marketing, and Producing Departments, and with Loss Control with ongoing evaluation and assessment of client’s risks, and programs, tools and mechanisms to positively impact the same. The role may assist with gathering, and summarizing loss histories for the purpose of marketing and/or underwriting. In addition to ongoing internal and client-facing communication, this professional will ensure the constant flow of communication with various carriers.
The ideal candidate will be adept at aggregating, synthesizing, assessing and presenting large amounts of varied data, and presenting the same in an intelligible fashion, throughout different business units. S/he will be tasked with reviewing policies and coverages, for appropriate and timely notice; also having to advocate on behalf of clients on the application of the same. This person would be expected to have experience across all lines of property and casualty business (primary and reinsurance), including, but not limited to:
