  • Overview

    Service and manage accounts within the Small Business Unit:

    1. Efficiently handle all renewals.
    2. Develop high level of trust with client counterparts.
    3. Maintain appropriate level of communication with clients.
    4. Be proactive and organized in the renewal process to exceed client expectations.
    5. Adhere to internal processes, timelines, and protocols.


      1. Responsible for the renewal process and managing a full book of business in accordance with our renewal timeline as efficiently as possible.
      2. Provide day to day servicing to our clients, including issuing certificates, auto id cards, processing endorsement requests, policy checking, billing issues, invoicing, and contract reviews as efficiently as possible.
      3. Responsible for learning, understanding and adhering to our internal timelines, protocols and workflows.
      4. Continuous, clear, and professional verbal and written communication is necessary with Clients, Carriers, and internal team members. Performs specific tasks associated with new and existing accounts within the Small Business Unit.
      5. Confidently and accurately answer basic client insurance questions, but rely on internal resources (mainly Manager and Senior Technical Specialist) for more complex or time-consuming questions.
      6. Follows up on payment and handles the billing of premiums
      7. Work to retain accounts through excellent customer service, proactive renewal process, and utilizing internal resources.


    1. 4 year College Degree or equivalent/applicable work experience in property & casualty insurance.
    2. Highly comfortable with using various types of computer technology in a face-paced environment.
    3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
    4. Service oriented, Team player who has Attention to detail
    5. Client relations focus who Follows through
    6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
    7. Experience with property and casualty, workers comp, auto and general liability is a plus.
    8. Prior experience working within Epic or another Agency Management System, preferred.
    9. Current P&C Producer License, preferred
